Description
Position Overview:
The Assessment & Evaluation Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and analyzing assessment and evaluation activities to measure programme effectiveness, improve student learning outcomes, and support evidence-based decision-making across READ Foundation schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement assessment and evaluation frameworks for educational programmes, projects, and initiatives.
- Develop and improve student assessment systems, including formative, summative, and continuous assessment practices.
- Plan and execute data collection activities using surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations, and quantitative tools.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, learning gaps, programme impact, and improvement areas.
- Prepare comprehensive assessment, evaluation, and analytical reports with actionable recommendations for management and stakeholders.
- Monitor programme performance and support continuous improvement initiatives across schools and departments.
- Ensure compliance with assessment standards, ethical guidelines, quality benchmarks, and organizational policies.
- Coordinate with academic, training, and field teams for smooth implementation of assessments and evaluation activities.
- Support the development of monitoring tools, dashboards, and reporting systems for data-driven decision-making.
- Provide technical guidance and capacity-building support to staff on assessment and evaluation practices.
- Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and reliability of collected data and institutional records.
- Assist management in policy review, programme evaluation, and strategic planning processes.
- Conduct field visits and monitoring activities as required.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor or management.
